BRICS 2026: New Delhi Declaration
BRICS Summit - September 11 - 13, 2026, Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, India
Executive Summary & Highlights
14 September 2026 | From the Chairman
Executive Summary
The 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi delivered a unanimous Declaration focused on economic development, inclusive growth, equal representation, and the practical removal of trade, payment, and financial barriers.
BRICS advanced pragmatic interoperability of national systems without ideological de-dollarization or a common currency. Dialogue and mutual understanding were positioned as the primary response to disruptions caused by conflict or unilateral measures — prioritizing preservation of lives, assets, nature, and growth over military or bloc confrontation.
India served as the effective bridge and pragmatic core, securing concrete advances on counter-terror language, institutional voice, and business-enabling mechanisms while managing key bilateral with strategic alignment and discretion.
These outcomes reinforce the Chamber’s operating culture: Strategic Alignment, Merit, and Discretion. We select partners according to their defined needs for collaboration, growth, and development.
